ABSTRACT
The following case study is based on an actual criminal investigation that involved the book author, Dr. Janet Oliva. The facts depicted in this case are based on real events. However, all possible identifiers have either been omitted or altered to protect innocent victims’ privacy. This case is presented solely for teaching purposes.
