ABSTRACT
Overview In the previous chapter, I mentioned that I think of the maps in this book as models of work. In this chapter, I discuss reasons to map a process and expand upon the maps as models theme.
Why Map a Process? Maps and flowcharts help make work visible. Or, at the very least, they make some aspect of that work visible.
