ABSTRACT

Measurement Measuring data need not be feared, nor should looking at what the data’s story represents. Measuring what matters is fundamental because success, failure, and mediocrity are identified only when creating and using a robust and elegant measurement program. ’is is a strategic necessity for the formation and continuation of an effective and high-performance quality and safety program. Knowing leads to moments of inspiration and ah-ha’s, and this then leads to improvement and innovation, and ultimately integration throughout the organization.
