ABSTRACT

The opening quotation is relevant for our subject, I think. Making it easy to measure is to change to the metric system. The metric system’s common denominator of ten seems so much easier than the English measure divisible by twelve for feet to inches. The reason we have not switched despite over forty years of saying we should is the resistance to change. Maybe we could apply the learning from this book to convert finally to the metric system? Well, remember chartering about a SMART goal (see Chapter 6)? Is this really attainable? Who wants to lead this change?
