ABSTRACT
If the same dose of a drug is administered to different people, there can be variations in the response produced. This difference in response between people is known as interindividual variation. A change in response in the same patient is called intraindividual variation. It is important to be aware of and consider the factors that contribute to variation in interindividual and intraindividual responses to drugs.
