ABSTRACT
John Barnes, aged 52 years, is a client on an acute mental health admission ward.
He has severe depression and also has a history of limited mobility and chronic
pain following an accident ten years ago. He needs a walking frame for support but
unfortunately fell on the ward recently and sustained a fractured wrist, which is
now in a plaster cast.
