ABSTRACT
A systematic review by Cullum et al. (2001) concluded that compression increases
venous ulcer healing rates when compared with no compression, that multilayered
systems are more effective than single-layered systems, that high compression is
more effective than low compression, but that there are no clear differences between
different types of high compression.
