Introduction Collecting information is at the heart of the intelligence process. Some members of the intelligence community (IC), such as Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Case Ocers, spend the bulk of their careers engaged almost solely in information collection, usually from human sources. Analysts also collect information, oen from open sources.
