The way you decide to apply what you have learned will depend on your situation. If your organization is launching a full-scale Lean (or Six Sigma or Lean-Sigma) transformation program in which standard work will be implemented throughout the organization, you should have many opportunities to apply what you have learned in this book in your own workplace. In this case, you may be included on a team of people who are responsible for implementing the standard work in a certain work area. You may have implementation time structured into your workday and may be responsible for reporting the results of your activities on a regular basis.
