Child abuse is the mistreatment and exploitation of a child, oen by a family member, who is most oen male. Child abuse is also putting a child in imminent jeopardy that is most likely to cause a child severe harm. is chapter focuses on sexual abuse, physical abuse (nonaccidental physical injury), emotional abuse (behavioral), and neglect (abandonment).
