By the time the boys looked back, both Jacob and the kidnapper were gone. Friends, relatives, neighbors, and people of the community searched in nearby remote areas and passed out ±yers every day, but to no avail. Jacob has not been heard from since. It is not uncommon that kidnappers sexually exploit the children they abduct.
