Leading simply refers to taking actions to inuence others toward attainment of organizational goals and objectives. Eective leaders understand the importance that human engagement plays in goal accomplishment. Human engagement refers to the concept where individuals personally feel their connection to their position and to organizational success. Human engagement contributes to a personal satisfaction that contributes to increased productivity, morale, and motivation.
