ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION A human being walks to a target and, using explosive wrapped around himself or herself, blows up, with the intention of killing or wounding all within the blast radius. A truck barrels at high speed into a barracks with several hundred sleeping men and explodes, killing hundreds. A baby is wrapped with four pounds of plastic explosive and, after the father is searched, he blows the child and himself up inside his target. A squad of terrorists storms a private school and ghts until they are all killed or they kill themselves with grenades. These are examples of suicide terrorism.
