ABSTRACT

The concept of the court is quite simple. Generally, a court is a place for resolving criminal and civil disputes. All kinds of transgressions may be considered and argued in courtroom proceedings federally, regionally, and locally. Disputes may involve any act of crime ranging from the smallest infraction of a parking ticket to a heinous crime like murder. Other offenses involving civil issues are also argued in court proceedings. For example, child custody and child support are argued in court settings. If one receives a dissatisfying outcome from court proceedings, then an appeal of the case may be necessary or desirable.
