ABSTRACT
In the following four chapters, we present proposals for the effective investigation of honor-based violence (HBV). For ease and clarity of presentation, we have divided the investigative process into two distinct phases: primary and secondary investigation. For each of these phases, we will describe the tasks and responsibilities of investigators that are required in order to maximize the likelihood of a successful outcome to the investigation.
