ABSTRACT
In the previous chapter, we explored the primary investigation of honorbased violence (HBV) crimes. In this chapter, we move on to consider secondary investigation. To recap, we define secondary investigation as those actions performed by specialist investigative officers, generally detectives, as part of the longer-term investigation of a suspected HBV crime.
