ABSTRACT

The previous chapter describes the components of the Infrastructure Resilience Analysis Methodology (IRAM) and provides a general process for applying the IRAM to infrastructure analysis. This chapter presents a series of infrastructure resilience analysis case studies that use the IRAM. These case studies vary by infrastructure system under consideration, type of disruption, analysis objectives, and complexity of both the systems and modeling methods. The studies were selected specifically to demonstrate how to apply the IRAM and to show the different types of resilience analyses for which the IRAM can be used. In each case, the analysis proceeds according to the IRAM’s six-step assessment process.
