ABSTRACT

Fifty-one years later, President Kennedy’s words still ring true; the players may have changed, but transnational criminals and terrorists still seek to erode and exhaust those who stand in the way of their success. The synergy between groups, sharing resources and tactics, will further their collective agenda to gain power and erode security; induce fractures, internal strife or apathy in society; and wait patiently for the opportunity to move in and take control.
