ABSTRACT
The skills and knowledge of sources required for healthcare financial analysis may differ from those needed for general industry research. This chapter examines the research process as well as various sources of information needed for several types of healthcare financial analysis-related activities, including benchmarking and business valuation, to assist internal analysts and healthcare financial executives in being better informed about the application of research methods.
