ABSTRACT
In Chapter 1, the motivations for œnancial crimes from the investigative perspective were discussed. We also need to address how wealth can be increased and accumulated. In general, there are only two ways to increase wealth: increase the «ow of income or decrease the «ow of expenses. Figure 4.1 is a simple diagram.
