The Computer Is a Moron

I realize that the title of this chapter is rather provocative, but I got the inspiration from none other than the renowned management guru, Peter Drucker. Drucker is reported to have said exactly this: “The computer is a moron.” Some of you have undoubtedly felt this way as well (I know I have) when your computer seems to have a mind of its own and starts doing crazy things and popping up nutty messages all over the place. However, I don’t think that is what Drucker was talking about. I believe that what he was talking about goes back go the saying: “Garbage in, garbage out.”
