ABSTRACT

I was at work at 6:30 a.m. Monday morning. I saw the Sunday night shift shuffle out at 7:00 a.m. and met with my staff at 8:00. I gave them a headsup about what was about to befall us. There was the expected grousing, but  I raised my hand. “Folks, this is our future. We’ve been adrift ever since the consultants left two years ago. Our numbers have dropped across the board and we’re under constant scrutiny by Corporate. I don’t want to live that way anymore.”
