ABSTRACT

Phase I — Situation You are a board member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), which was founded in 1909 and is America’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. The organization has always fought all forms of racial segregation and discrimination. In addition, it has demanded equal rights for all Americans regardless of race or color. The primary goal of the organization was the full participation of African-Americans and other minorities in the promise of the American dream. The NAACP has 400,000 to 450,000 members and a staff of 181 employees (Berg, 2014).
