Talking to your boss can be scary. Speaking to a person who has supervisory responsibility over you and the power to help or hurt your career often strikes fear into the heart. How does one go about giving an oral report to the boss? How does one take the initiative to go to the supervisor with a problem, solution, or request? How does one dress, behave, and speak? What actions and behaviors contribute to successful encounters with the boss?
