ABSTRACT
PNHP offered to be on congressional panels and we were turned down. Many physicians feel that the last available route in being heard is civil disobedience. I have an eight-month-old at home. I have spoken to my wife about participating in the demonstrations. But it is my firm belief that this is not a democracy if we can’t get a seat at the table. It’s no secret that members of Congress have taken thousands, even
millions, of dollars from insurance companies and pharma to fund their campaigns. Insurance companies are a business.
