ABSTRACT
Another increasingly prevalent threat comes from cyberattacks that target computer systems (see Box 9 .1) . Whether the attacks come from criminals seeking our financial identities or terrorists bent on disruption, the effects can be significant . We rely on computers not only for communication but also for leisure activities, to run complicated analyses, store records, take classes, and hold meetings .
