ABSTRACT

In this age of smartphones, touch screens, and lightning-fast WiFi, we often take for granted that these technologies were not always available to us. Today’s teens have never lived in a world with rotary telephones, VHS players, and cassette tapes. If fact, the screech of dial-up broadband is a foreign concept, and the Internet has always been an available, quick method of retrieving information. However, the Internet did not become a presence in our homes until a little over 20 years ago.
