Planch., also a tree, is equated with Chirbilva, Pūtika, Pūtikaranja, Putikaranja (AFI synonyms) and Prakiryā; Caesalpinia bonduc, a shrub, has been identi-ed as Latākaranja (AFI synonym), Kantaki karanja and Karanji.3,30,7
