ABSTRACT
Leadership is practiced and deployed within the framework of an organizational structure. This could be an institution such as a business, a healthcare clinic, or a government agency. It might be a functional group such as the military, a labor union, or a political party. An organization is a group of individuals working together in an effort to achieve a particular purpose. Leadership directs the planning, organizing, and controlling of resources, both material and human, so that organizational objectives are achieved.
