ABSTRACT
To develop quick changeover concepts, a fundamental analysis of the existing set-up is required after the synthesis step, in which the environmental conditions are clarified as being performed. The easiest way to perform this analysis is to take a video of the set-up and analyze it. The benefits are obvious: There is no need to interrupt the production planning, the process can be repeated as often as necessary, times are easy to determine using the film time drive, and the film can be stopped at any random point. In particular, with ergonomically demanding positions and postures, the film is clearly superior to the true situation. Also, the perception of a process through the separation depicted by the monitor is different, which can generate new insights from time to time.
