ABSTRACT
Some of the best latent prints are found on the adhesive sides of tapes, stamps, and labels. It is also possible to visualize fingerprints on human skin, though this has been much more successful in a laboratory than in practice. When these challenging surfaces and matrices are encountered, specific chemical reagents and processes must be used in order to successfully visualize the fingerprint.
