ABSTRACT

Regardless of the type of fingerprint analysis conducted, all fingerprint examiners will, at some point in their careers, testify to an actions and conclusions in a court of law. As a forensic scientist, the fingerprint analyst must not only conduct scientific analyses but also communicate their results in a court of law. The courtroom is the final stop for any criminal investigation. Bringing a suspect to justice, or exonerating the innocent, is the goal of forensic analysis.
