ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION Community learning disability nurses now work with a wide cross-section of people with learning disabilities and agencies. This chapter will explore current and changing roles of learning disability nurses working in the community. This will be contextualised within the Nursing and Midwifery Council for the United Kingdom (2010) and An Board Altranis (2005) standards for competence.
