ABSTRACT
Accident investigation is a direct application of Sir Isaac Newton’s laws of motion, work, and the law of conservation of energy. Law enforcement combines the equations used to determine kinetic energy, work done by friction, and conservation of energy into useful formulas to calculate friction and speed.
