Performance on Purpose

If you can’t describe what you are doing as a process, you don’t know what you are doing, and you have not designed the process on purpose.

Purpose, measure, and action are distinct parts of the greater organizational whole and critical pieces in building business processes that maximize the generation and fulfillment of customer demand. Together, these three elements are the basics of the operating system or organization’s thoughtware, and the driving force in deploying the business strategy.
