ABSTRACT

Statistical design [1] and control [2], which nd business solutions by testing then managing their implementation, are fundamentally simple. It’s the need that’s more important than the method though, such as improving health for thousands of people, or innovation of a new product in retail with strong sales maintained from the outset, such as shown in this book’s opening, real cases. Statistical design and control is a management tool, not one that can be deployed by technical people alone. It’s not top-down but starts and stays there. e cases show how and why.
