ABSTRACT
The requirements generation process defines, in detail, the system functionality as well as the engineered process changes essential for an order of magnitude improvement in operational performance. The attributes of requirements definition include categories such as “mission critical,” “essential,” and “nice to have,” which then establishes the baseline for a traceability matrix that flows through the project phases including design, prototyping, customization, testing, piloting, and delivery.
