Accelerant: A fuel that is used to start a fire that wouldn’t start on its own or speed up a fire.
Adsorption/elution: A method of recovery of accelerant vapors from fire debris that employs a material that adsorbs the vapors that are then removed (eluted) and concentrated for analysis.
