ABSTRACT
The du (governing channel) originates from the inside of the lower abdomen, moves down, and emerges out of the perineum, where the first acupuncture point is located at DU-1 (chang qiang).
● Then it moves up posteriorly through the interior of the spinal column up to DU-16 (feng fu), which is located at the nape of the neck. From here, the path enters the brain and moves up to the vertex of the head. Then it flows along the midline of the forehead, across the bridge of the nose, and ends at the upper lip.
