The pathway of the yin-wei (yin-linking channel) starts from the medial side of the leg at the kidney channel point KI-9 (zhu bin), 5 cun above the medial malleolus:

● It ascends along the medial side of the thigh and enters the lower abdomen, where it communicates with the spleen channel at points SP-12 (chong men), SP-13 (fu she), SP-15 (da heng), and SP-16 (fu ai).
