ABSTRACT

INFORMATION SYSTEMS ARE SUPPOSED TO HELP, but very often end users regard a new system as more of a hindrance than a help. There are many explanations why users would find an information system an obstacle in getting their work done. One is that the system does not perform the tasks users must do to accomplish their work. Another common reason is that the systems are just too difficult to use. Usability is the answer for such end-user complaints.
