ABSTRACT
Introduction The problem with governmental deviance is that we are discussing individuals who have signicant power over citizens within their jurisdiction. Unlike the individual who robs the convenience store, these individuals’ actions have far more impact on the public in general. As the reader examines the various crimes discussed in this chapter, the reader should remember that these crimes are committed by people who are not economically or socially depressed.
