ABSTRACT

In a memo dated November 6, 1992, Inspector Connolly of J Division wrote the following assessment of me as a police informant:

This brief memo invokes a very vivid memory for me every time I read it. I was being housed in a county jail not far from the detachment where Mike Cabana was now stationed. It was my intention to move to that area when released and continue to pass information on as an informant, with the hope that it would lead to another operation as an agent. During my stay at the jail, I was communicating back and forth with Mike, even though there was a danger that it could disclose my relationship with the Force and therefore compromise my safety.
