ABSTRACT
The actual investigation for this research project started around March 2012 and was completed in May 2013.* The original report was written from May 2013 to January 2014 and then revised based upon feedback from January to May 2014. The steps were separated into phases, though some aspects of the different phases overlapped. Listed here are the major phases along with the specific tasks that were undertaken during each of those phases:
◾ Introductory phase 1. Define the term telehealth. 2. Identify the scope of coverage of telehealth within the study. 3. Determine the definition for rural. 4. Carry out a review of the literature. 5. Identify themes within the literature. 6. Compile the resources available. 7. Conduct preliminary interviews. 8. Identify interview themes.
