ABSTRACT
Within the wide range of differing views of what constitutes leadership, one view that has gained increasing momentum is the notion that integrity is at the heart of what makes leaders effective because it is the foundation upon which high-trust relationships are built. Therefore, it is the basis for effective interpersonal, managerial, and organizational interaction. In short, people more willingly follow those whom they trust.
