ABSTRACT

Social networks are the relationships between individuals or groups of individuals. These relationships could be formed through many channels, such as organizational membership, political activity, or recreational activity. A central characteristic of social networks is the presence of individuals known as "hubs" or "connectors" who have an exceptional number of links to various individuals and groups.
