ABSTRACT
Chapter Objectives This chapter introduces readers to the timing, security, and additional issues involved in the execution of contracts by contractors. The agency’s contract review and execution process is normally conducted following execution by the contractor and is discussed in that sequence in this text; however, there is also a discussion of potential revisions to this sequence resulting from the capability for conducting the agency’s contract review function more efficiently using computer networking technology.
