ABSTRACT
A bad delivery can spoil a very well-written speech. Therefore, various considerations of effective speech delivery are discussed in this chapter. The role of pitch, pace and pauses in effective oratory is illustrated with a brief analysis of the selected speeches of Martin Luther King Junior, F. D. Roosevelt and Barack Obama.
