Nuclear power is far too costly in terms of the money spent, the environment wasted, and the safety hazards which exist. Some historical figures are brought to life in vignettes in which their original words have been rewritten to reflect nuclear energy messages. Nuclear power represents the greatest single threat to the health and safety of humanity. Numerous accusations of US government and business involvement in uranium price fixing, the placing of pro-nuclear people in key government positions, and the concealment of studies whose results showed the nuclear risks are spelled out. The issue of a nuclear freeze is a simple, uncomplicated notion: “the United States and the Soviet Union should agree to a dead halt in all aspects of the nuclear arms race.” Nuclear War provides readers with an insight into how the quest for atomic energy has resulted in a massive stockpile of nuclear bombs worldwide.
