ABSTRACT

You can play a part in liberating your own talent. This chapter provides resources to help you to think about how to tap into more of your own talent. These resources can also be used by leaders and HR professionals to encourage people in their team or organisation to be more proactive in driving their own development. The chapter starts by describing thriving at work, introducing a thriving matrix to describe different ways of engaging with work. Four scenarios are then introduced to help you to consider how to liberate more talent now, how to set a direction for the future, how to liberate your talent when working as a freelancer and how to progress if you see yourself as having high potential. The chapter concludes with coaching questions to help the reader to apply what they have read.
